Alex Mackey
I’m Alex, based in Niles, Ohio. I’m a massage therapy student and a professional portrait photographer, combining my strong interpersonal skills with a focus on hands-on, therapeutic work.
Current Focus & Experience
I am actively completing my massage therapy studies at Stark State College. Alongside my education, I work as a retail photographer, managing fast-paced sessions with families, kids, and couples. This role involves connecting with clients, directing shoots, and producing customized materials on the spot.
I hold a Red Cross lifeguard certification, including CPR and First Aid. While I build my practice in massage therapy, I am also open to healthcare support roles, such as patient care technician, unit clerk, or medical records.
Background
I have a multi-year background in steel fabrication and welding, where I managed projects, operated heavy equipment, and worked under tight deadlines. My earlier experience includes working in kitchens, security, and lifeguarding. I am reliable, adaptable, and focused on getting the job done right.
Other Work & Projects
I continue to take on freelance welding repairs and fabrication projects when they arise. I also shoot freelance event photography, create hand-crafted braided cotton items, and have been a fire performer for about ten years.
